Three full-size sheet decal set depicting N5241, flown by R. Sterping and P. D'Ursel, 6me Escadrille of the Belgian Air Service.

Together with the other N5236 scheme in the Aviattic Sopwith 1 & 1/2 strutter line-up, this one provide a unique colourful scheme, especially for our Belgian modeller fans. Everybody seems to like the Flying Fox. To all Belgian Air Service subject matter experts, we'd love to know more about the story. 

Dave Hooper's take on N5241:

"N5241 ‘Flying Fox’ is reasonably well known, possibly because of its inclusion on a Blue Rider sheet. There are two very clear photos of this aircraft and a lovely colour profile in the Aeronaut book. On both Belgian aircraft I have included an optional horizontal stabilizer part with the “S” number on the port upper surface. This is not visible in any of the photos of N5241 or N5236 but it is present on other Belgian Strutters from the same period. N5241 appears to have PC10 enamel painted cowls."
