A replica using this 1916 RNAS livery is still operational, in the collection of the The Great War Flying museum in Canada, and used for demonstration purposes such as the Remembrance Day Flyover.

Dave Hooper's take on 9739:

"9739 is a very well-known strutter. Again I only know of one photograph where 9739 is part of a line-up of single and two seat strutters. Some artists have got confused between 9739 and a single seat strutter using the same markings. The single seat had Red/white wheel covers, however 9739 did not. I personally believe that 9739 was factory finished in PC10 and so would expect it to have a wooden finished coaming. 9739 appears to have aluminium cowls"
